We have spent many years developing business applications and professional web sites for a hugely diverse range of people.

During these years we often heard the same complaint from people - they had paid to have a web site developed but now they wanted to make some changes to reflect how their business has changed or grown... but when they approached the people who wrote their site they were told it would take days or even weeks to make the changes and it would cost them too! Even if it's something small like changing a few words or adding a new picture.

Many other people have also come to us and said they couldn't afford to have a website written just for them so they had bought an off-the-shelf package but when it came to using it they had no chance as they were expected to be able to produce their own graphics and host the site themselves and most off-the-shelf packages need some knowledge of HTML.		We considered all these problems and came up with a solution... and thus... BAD DUCK was born!

With a Bad Duck website both these issues are addressed... for starters, it's not an off-the shelf package, it's a system that we tailor to your needs... and we take care of all the technical stuff that most off-the-shelf packages leave you to work out for yourselves - like graphics or hosting etc.

The other main difference with a BAD DUCK site is that you can manage your own content without any HTML or other technical knowledge required. The system uses a WYSIWYG editor (just like a Word Processor) that lets you edit your content in a way that shows how it will appear on your site. You can add pictures, Flash movies, tables and all sorts of other things too - without any coding.
