What do I need to get going then?
Well, the first thing you will need is a MAIN SITE i.e. a Bad Duck powered website.

When you order one of these, we will discuss your requirements in more detail and agree on a domain name for your site. This could be a domain name you already own or a brand new one - obviously, we have to check that it is available too!

Once that's agreed, we register the domain name for you and point it at our server.

We also set up some standard email addresses using your domain name e.g. webmaster@[your domain], postmaster@[your domain], info@[your domain] etc and we can setup a further 5 addresses of your choice.

You can access all these email addresses via our on-line web-based email reader or if you prefer, we can forward all the emails to an existing account or we can show you how to set up programs like Microsoft Outlook to use your new email addresses.

We then work with you on the design of your site - you can tell us how you want it to look and feel, we can base it on your existing logo / letterhead or even an existing site if you already have one. We usually ask you to provide us with about 5 examples of other sites you really like and what you like about them, and 5 sites you really don't like and what you don't like about them - we can then usually come up with a design you like.

Once the design is agreed, we produce all the graphics and setup your site to have the colours, fonts, menu styles as agreed.

The site comes with several starter pages ready for you to fill in. These are Home, About Us, Contact Us and Products/Services.

You can then add as many pages as you like to your site via the back-office system that comes with your site.

And that's it... you're up and running!
 		I need more than just a website!
Don't get in a flap! We've thought of that too!

Everyone has different needs for their site, many people for example need a shop. Some people need to take bookings, some want a forum...

This is why we offer a whole load of Optional Extras (or Modules as we like to call them) for your Bad Duck site.

So if you need a shop, we have 2 to choose from (a 'basic' one and an 'advanced' one). We have a Forum Module so your users can chat to each other, a Calender Module so you can show important events, a Blog module so you can keep your customers updated and loads more.

The best thing about them is that you only need to buy the ones you want... so you're not paying for a load of features you will never use.

You can also add them to your site at any time, so you could start with a simple site, then add a basic shop later and if you find you're selling loads of stuff you can upgrade to the advanced shop after that.

What if I need something you don't offer?
Well, if you need your site to do something not already covered in one of our add-on modules then just get in touch and tell us what it is you need.
 
We'll assess your requirements and let you know if they're technically possible. If so, we'll then have to make a judgement call... if we think we can offer this facility to lots of other people we'll develop a new module and you can then add that to your site. If it's something that only you are likely to ever want then we can still develop it for you... but we're afraid this will cost a considerable amount more! Don't let this put you off tho... give us a shout and we'll see what we can do!
